ICRA is a credit rating agency in India similar to CRISIL and CARE. The promoter of ICRA is Moody’s, one of the big three in international credit ratings.
There has been a lot of discussion on CRISIL and CARE Ratings since credit rating companies are very high margin, moat oriented business. A proof of this is that Moody’s stock has seen a great bull run even after the debacles of 2008.
Can anyone who has done a deep dive on ICRA share their observations please ? How do they stand in comparison to CRISIL and CARE ?
