Capital Small Finance Bank is a well known bank in Punjab. In 2016 it was a local area bank having its business in two three districts in Punjab only has came a long way after being converted to small finance bank from a local area bank. Currently It is operating in Punjab, Haryana, J&K , Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and NCR region. Although it has limited presence in areas other than Punjab but it is aggressively expanding its branch network focusing mostly on semi urban and rural areas.
On financial front, bank is performing very good with their key parameter ratios display robust performance of the bank. More than 99% of their loan portfolio is secured with zero direct exposure to microfinance loans.
The bank is showing very good growth in their business year on year. Their ipo came in Feb 2024 and currently share price is well below their listing price. As the bank is expanding in other states and adding to it if bank gets universal license in future it's share price can grow exponentially.
